The GOLDEN RIVER VEINS Series

The aerial photographs show fluvial structures below a glacier in the eastern part of Switzerland.
The golden coloring comes from particles which are deposited on the glacier like Sahara Sand and pollen.
They are washed out during the melting process in early spring, tinting the river structures below in a subtle golden color for a short period of time.
