As the climate is drastically changing, glaciers in the Alps are likely to disappear within this century.
Being a witness of time, the glaciers contain all sorts of evidence of the geological history of our planet.
The structures and lines visible in the ice are small bubbles of air trapped deep within the glacier,
which is literally the atmosphere from hundreds or thousands of years ago when the glacier formed.
The series was shot in one of the last ice caves of the Engadin.
